JOB SUMMARY To assist Land Surveyor in data conversion exercise of survey plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform all activities in Data conversion of survey maps, including the following;
- To sort and record all approved survey plans in data conversion exercise;
- To scan all survey plans in data conversion exercise;
- To Geo-referencing survey plans with QGIS in data conversion exercise;
- To Vectorize survey plans with QGIS in data conversion exercise;
- To participate in Parcel identification in unplanned areas;
- To Redraw town planning drawings as needs may arise;
- To Prepare daily reports; and
- To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Certificate in one of the following fields; Geomatics and Geo-informatics or equivalent academic qualifications from a recognized institution.
Applicants should be qualified and experienced in the practice of spatial data analysis software (QGIS) and must have Laptop and Smartphone. Experience in similar projects will be added advantage.
REMUNERATION AS PER GOVERNMENT SALARY SCALE
